Kate McGuire is a Boston potter who finds the challenge of transforming a lump of clay into something both beautiful and useful captivating. Her favorite stage of making pottery is the first, creating the form. She loves the feel of the clay and is always striving to achieve the perfect line or curve for each piece. She uses a variety of wheel throwing and hand building techniques to create her amazing pieces and likes to incorporate texture, which may come from a variety of objects, and uses nature as a source of inspiration. This elegant and fully functional pitcher is the perfect container for juice, water, or cocktails and can also be used as a vase. Also available in Floating Blue.
