Caskata's beloved Lucy, favorite denizen of the deep, wraps herself around this snack bowl, enveloping your favorite treats in her flowing embrace. Lucy is carefully created by hand, using a sand-etching technique that renders her form deep into the glass. She's one of a kind, and we think this bowl is too.
The designers at Caskata create beautiful objects that are delicate to look at, but strong enough to use every day. In their skylit studios they combine inspiration drawn from the New England landscapes and coastlines that surround their workshop, with perspectives formed by years spent in New York and Paris. Focusing on contemporary interpretations of classic motifs, their compositions are both timeless and fresh. Meticulous attention to detail is evidenced in each piece, making these true modern-day heirlooms.

As owner and artistic director of the Terrafirma studio, Ellen Evans's creative focus is to design and produce high quality, functional works of art for the table and home using a unique, original process. Patterns are created by painting through textiles and lace using liquid porcelain to produce a distinctive “one of a kind” result. The base of warm, natural stoneware juxtaposed with vibrantly colored and patterned porcelain surfaces achieves the casual yet sophisticated look that has become her signature in both dinnerware and accessories.
Terrafirma products are made entirely by hand and kiln-fired to extremely high temperatures, giving each piece its own personality and great durability. Slight variations in color, texture and surface blushing are the natural and desired result of the hand building and high-firing process and assure each piece of its individuality. Each collectible, copyrighted design is signed and dated by artist Ellen Evans. A great bowl for serving appetizers or other tidbits.

LAMOU was started by two friends who attended architecture school together and met up years and many chapters later to create printed wood objects for the home. Every baltic birch tray is made by hand and features artwork which is digitally printed directly onto the wood. Since wood is s natural material, each tray will vary slightly. Each tray is finished with a water-based polyurethane, simply wipe off any excess liquid after use and your tray should last forever. Two sides of the tray feature a depth of 2", while the other two sides have a depth of only 1.25" which allows for easy grasping for carrying the tray.
"Linear Leaves" features an all over stylized leaf motif in bright blue and green.
