Elemento Tapas Plate

$ 20.00

Porto Brasil's stoneware is an innovative and sustainable material, where the combination of the best natural raw materials, combined with a unique firing and manual finishing process, delivers a product with superior characteristics in terms of quality and resistance, in compliance with the main global standards. Made from natural raw materials, it is fired at high temperatures and finished by hand, resulting in unique pieces with superior aesthetics and durability. All of the products have high mechanical and thermal shock resistance, making them suitable for use in ovens, microwaves, freezers, and dishwashers. They use special reactive glazes that undergo chemical reactions during firing, creating unique variations within the same collection. Each collection showcases a wide range of tones, textures, and effects, making each piece distinct and naturally exclusive.

Porto Brasil employ practices that minimize their ecological footprint by reusing clay and glazes, harnessing kiln heat for energy efficiency, and operating with a closed-loop water system. The kilns use natural gas, reducing emissions. They also adhere to the highest global standards of food safety, particularly regarding the release of lead and cadmium including California Proposition 65, U.S. FDA, European Council Directive, and Australian Customs regulations.

The Elemento collection features a Japanese-inspired indigo striped motif which is highlighted against a greige background. This striking tapas dinner plate exudes a timeless elegance.  Pair with the matching dinner and salad plates for a coordinated look.
