Alison Gardiner is a well-loved and much collected illustrator with a range of giftware, including fine bone china, tea blends, stationery and souvenirs. Her Tea Towel is printed and hand finished in one the Old Mill Towns of Lancashire where at one time half the world's cotton was produced. Families have passed on the skills for generation going back to the beginning of the industrial resolution.

Celebrate the wildlife of Britain with this beautiful china mug, featuring red foxes, deer, rabbits and squirrels all surrounded by Christmas Trees. Each mug is hand-crafted using traditional methods in the home of pottery: Stoke-on-Trent, England. The exacting standards which come from centuries of experience have resulted in only the finest quality mugs making it to the shelves. Fine bone china is used because it is pure white in colour, chip resistant, and tea and coffee are said to taste better when it is drunk from! You can determine whether some of your own mugs are fine bone china by holding it up to the sun and placing your fingers behind it - it should be almost translucent.

Each mug takes 7 days to make; it is cast in a mold and is finished by hand by highly skilled glazers and lithographers. Bone china has a long history in the English countryside and lends itself to Alison’s heritage creations, ensuring rich and beautiful colors on every design.
