Kate McGuire is a Boston potter who finds the challenge of transforming a lump of clay into something both beautiful and useful captivating. Her favorite stage of making pottery is the first, creating the form. She loves the feel of the clay and is always striving to achieve the perfect line or curve for each piece. She uses a variety of wheel throwing and hand building techniques to create her amazing pieces and likes to incorporate texture, which may come from a variety of objects, and uses nature as a source of inspiration.
These Altered Bowls feature a couple of pinched sides which make them so unusual and pleasing. Use the large bowl for ramen, pho or other soups, the medium size is good for sides or cereal and the small bowl is perfect for dips, snacks and more. Available in 3 sizes: Small, Medium and Large.
