LSA Gems Bud Vases

A slim mouth-blown glass vase with stepped form and pleated texture. Two tonal lustres are applied by hand to create a subtle dual-tone effect. The iridescent colours and textured finish take inspiration from the facets of polished gems.

The vase is mouth blown by skilled glassblowers, making impressions in the glass while it is still molten to create a textured surface. The rim of the vase is cut and polished to achieve a smooth finish. Two lustres are painted separately by hand onto the body of each piece, carefully applied with precision to create a dual-tone finish, before firing at a high temperature.
