Plants for You: Cookbook Signing & Dessert Demo with Diana Goldman

Join us on Wednesday, July 10 from 6:30-7:30PM for a cookbook signing and Vegan Chocolate Mousse Demo and Tasting with Newton-based Diana Goldman of Beantown Kitchen. Diana recently authored her first cookbook, Plants for You and we are helping her to celebrate with a special soft cookbook launch, dessert demonstration, Q & A session and cookbook signing. Come learn about the benefits of a plant-based cuisine and how easy it is to cook amazingly delicious, plant-based dishes.

Diana Goldman is a chef, food photographer, and culinary educator. She is also the creator of Beantown Kitchen.com named one of the top 100 plant-based blogs by Feedspot. Her recipes and and articles have been featured in several popular plant-based spaces online, including Forks Over Knives, VEGWORD Magzine, the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and Nourish Magazine.

Diana is also a Vegan Caterer, Sierra Club Cooking Show Host and Plant-based Nutrition Educator. She received a B.S. from Cornell University in Nutrition Science and an Ed.M. from Harvard University. 

She adopted a plant-based lifestyle in 2013, and since then has continued her nutrition and culinary education. She loves sharing what she's learned and the recipes she has created with others.

SEPTEMBER 28 -- 6:30PM Chocolate Therapy Truffles and Wine Pairing Event 

Taste for yourself why fine wine and fine chocolate are a match made in heaven! The award-winning chocolatiers at Chocolate Therapy have created fun fall pairings that will knock your socks off. Relax and learn how to taste and pair these two superfoods, and sample four mind-blowing creations. We’ll explore elegant flavor combinations covering savory, spicy, sweet and creamy flavor profiles and drawing from a number of different varietals, such as their best-selling Strawberry Balsamic truffle paired with Petit Syrah! $35 per person, includes pairings and snacks. 

OCTOBER 20 -- 6:30PM Amy Traverso, author of, "The Apple Lover's Cookbook" and Senior Lifestyle Editor of Yankee Magazine, will be on hand to educate us on heirloom apples and will make a Sweet Apple Pickle. She will also be autographing her book. This is a free event.  

NOVEMBER 16 -- 7:00PM Blooms of Hope Floral Arranging Workshop. $30 per person, limited to 24 participants. THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT!

DECEMBER 6 --6:30PM Heidi Carman of Busy Bee Florists conducts a Holiday Centerpiece Workshop. Details to follow soon!
