Have you ever wanted to learn the art of Japanese floral arranging? Here's your opportunity to learn with Mimi Santini-Ritt, a Level 15 Professor of Ikebana. The evening will start with a short introduction to Ikenobo Ikebana by Mimi followed by instructions and a demonstration for creating a moribana arrangement. The attendees will then create their own arrangements.

Mimi Santini-Ritt is a Level 15 Professor of Ikebana who has studied Ikenobo extensively in both the U.S. and in Japan for almost 25 years. She has completed several years of training at the Ikenobo Central Training Institute in Kyoto and continues taking advanced classes there. Mimi teaches, exhibits and demonstrates the art of Japanese flower arranging throughout the greater Boston area. She is Past President of the Ikenobo Ikebana Society of Boston. When not practicing Ikenobo, Mimi can often be found at the Museum of Fine Arts, where she does volunteer work in Egyptian Storage and Conservation.

Join us to learn the art of Modern Calligraphy & Pumpkin Lettering with Lindsay Monack, a calligrapher in the greater Boston area. What started as an interest while wedding planning, quickly turned into her passion after attending the first Sip & Script class back in 2015. She created her calligraphy-focused Instagram account @lindsaymletters in 2021 and has been working with brides and party hosts since that first class.

This Intro to Modern Calligraphy & Pumpkin Lettering class is for anyone who's never picked up a pen. You will learn the basics, and our hope is you leave with ink flowing through your nib and the confidence to keep practicing. Tried it before? It's a great refresher with new supplies from our beginner kit.

We will be lettering on mini faux pumpkins as our final project.

Spring Kinusaiga Workshop at Knot & Purl
Wednesday, May 6 | 6:30–8:30pm

Join us for a special evening of creativity and community as Greentail Table and Knot & Purl come together to introduce kinusaiga, a traditional Japanese textile art form that uses fabric to create intricate, textured designs—no sewing required.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of kinusaiga and create a beautiful, finished piece using curated fabrics. Guests are welcome to design their own composition or choose from a selection of pre-printed spring-inspired templates.

This workshop is designed to be approachable for beginners while offering a relaxing, creative experience for all.
